I couldn’t sleep and I felt better than I have in weeks so I decided
to make a midnight gym run. I should have stayed home. I went to the gym
with my eyes set on a 5 miler, planning on an hour and ten minutes on
the treadmill and for the first 1.5 miles I was feeling good. At a
little before 2 miles my iPhone/mileage and time keeper died. So I just
said forget about and relied on the treadmill and vowing to find a way
to get credit for all five miles on nikeplus. Then somewhere between
mile 2.6 and 2.8 I knocked that stupid red thingy out of its little
magnetic home and completely stopped the treadmill.
I gave up. Now I’m eating girl scout cookies. I’m not ashamed…
